We are supporting Communicare and other partners in the city to set up a Southampton Mental Health Network, which will bring together and raise awareness of the support available in our communities to improve wellbeing.
Communicare, who are leading on setting up the network, are seeking the views of local people, health and care professionals, community groups and the voluntary sector to ensure as many people as possible can get involved in Mental Health Network events.
Find out more from Communicare and share your views in the survey - https://communicareinsouthampton.org.uk/mental-health-we-would-like-your-opinion/. The closing date is Sunday 12 May.
NHS 111, ambulance services, GP services and community services are working even closer together to provide local people with the right care in the right place at the right time.
Not everybody needs the same help when they call NHS 111. One person may want to know where their local pharmacy is, another may need a community nurse and someone else may need to speak to a doctor.
Working together we are developing access to healthcare professionals who will be able to advise on the most appropriate clinical care, including callers with mental health problems, medication requirements and children’s health issues. Find out more and have your say.
